Last updated: Sept 11, 2026

Veni Vidi Paris values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect through www.venividiparis.fr (the "Website"), why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.

1. Who we are

The Website is published by SN2TN, trading as Veni Vidi Paris, a simplified joint-stock company (société par actions simplifiée) with share capital of 8,000 euros, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 847 627 908, with its registered office at 94, boulevard Flandrin, 75116 Paris, France ("we", "us", "SN2TN").

For the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR") and French Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on Data Processing, Data Files and Individual Liberties, as amended, SN2TN is the data controller for the personal data described below.

2. What data we collect

This Website is hosted by Squarespace. Simply by visiting the Website, Squarespace collects certain technical information, including:

  • Information about your browser, network and device

  • Web pages you visited before arriving at this Website

  • Web pages you view while on this Website

  • Your IP address

Squarespace needs this data to serve the Website to you, and to protect and improve its own platform and services. Squarespace collects and uses this data as an independent controller, for its own purposes, separate from our use of your data described in section 3. You can read more about how Squarespace uses this data in its own Privacy Policy.

If you have not disabled built-in site analytics, Squarespace also collects data such as clicks, internal links, pages visited, scrolling and search activity on the Website, which we use, via Squarespace, to understand site traffic and activity.

This Website uses Google Fonts and/or Adobe Fonts, served through Squarespace's built-in integration, to display text correctly. To do so, these providers may receive your IP address and browser information.

3. Data you choose to give to us

We do not process payments through the Website, and browsing the Website does not otherwise require you to provide any personal data to us directly.

The only personal data we collect through the Website is provided voluntarily when you sign up to our mailing list. This is limited to:

  • Your email address

  • Your first name and/or surname, where you choose to provide it

We do not collect billing addresses, bank details or payment information through the Website.

4. Why we collect it and our legal basis

We collect and process your email address (and name, where given) for one purpose: to send you our newsletter and communications about Veni Vidi Paris, including travel inspiration, curated recommendations, and news about our services.

The legal basis for this processing is your consent, given at the point of sign-up. You may withdraw this consent at any time, as described in section 7 below.

5. Who receives your data

We use Squarespace's native email marketing feature (Squarespace Email Campaigns) to manage our mailing list and send our newsletter. Our contracting party for this service is Squarespace Ireland Limited, which acts as processor of your data on our behalf, strictly to deliver our communications to you. Squarespace Ireland Limited engages Squarespace, Inc. (based in the United States) as a sub-processor to help provide this service.

Where your data is transferred to Squarespace, Inc. in the United States for this purpose, that transfer is primarily carried out under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, to which Squarespace, Inc. is certified, and which requires it to apply a level of data protection equivalent to that guaranteed within the EU. Where the Data Privacy Framework does not apply to a given transfer, or is invalidated, the transfer instead relies on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission as a fallback safeguard.

We do not sell, rent or otherwise share your data with any other third party. We do not use your data for any purpose beyond sending our newsletter.

6. How long we keep your data

We retain your email address and name for as long as you remain subscribed to our mailing list. If you unsubscribe, we delete your data from our active mailing list within a reasonable period, save where we are required to retain minimal records (such as proof of consent or unsubscribe requests) to comply with our legal obligations, within the applicable statutory limitation period.

If you have not opened or engaged with our communications for three years, we will remove you from our active mailing list, unless you re-engage with us in the meantime.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR and French data protection law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you

  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data

  • Erase your data

  • Restrict how we process your data

  • Object to processing, including for direct marketing purposes

  • Port your data to another provider, where technically feasible

  • Withdraw your consent at any time, with no effect on the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal

You can unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time using the "unsubscribe" link included in every email we send, or by contacting us directly.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at sarah@venividiparis.fr or by post at 94, boulevard Flandrin, 75116 Paris, France.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés), the French data protection authority, at www.cnil.fr, if you believe your data protection rights have not been respected.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse, in accordance with the GDPR and French data protection law.

9. Cookies

The Website uses cookies and similar technologies placed by Squarespace, our hosting platform, to serve the Website to you securely. These necessary cookies are always active.

The Website also uses analytics and performance cookies, which are only activated once you acknowledge our cookie banner. These help us understand site traffic and activity.
